Well, I believe that to be true. But in my case, that kind of book is a journal, planner, tracker or activity book (also known as a low content books).
These books that are so much fun to make and can make a huge difference to other people.
So, this challenge is called Your Journal Mission… but don’t feel like you can only create a journal during this challenge, there are lots of different kinds of books that you can create 😊 which we will be discussing at the beginning of the challenge.

Hey there, I’m Julie Hall, your Low Content KDP Coach! 😊 .
I’ve been running my own online business for over 20 years, creating digital products and courses. But it wasn’t until 2021 that I dipped my toes into the world of book creation. 📚
It was a whole new ball game, but wow did I love it! Thousands of books sold and a whole lot richer, I realized something… that I had cracked the code to publishing low content books on Amazon KDP. But not everyone has the time to figure out where to start.
So, that’s why I run these challenges. My goal is to move you from confusion to clarity, from procrastination to action. We will create a book together in live session, step-by-step, no tech wizardry needed. No overthinking or getting lost in the process – just pure creation! 🎨
My gratitude journal
My first book that I created that was a gratitude journal. It was published in July 2021 and I designed it to be the kind of gratitude journal that I wanted to use. And as you can see has made me over £3000!
This book is a very simple book. With some intro pages to gratitude journaling and then a weekly 2 page spread where they could write what they are grateful for.
This book sells month after month and sells particularly well at Christmas and in January.
This is the kind of book we will be looking to create in the book in a day workshop.
One that has a repeated set of pages or a planner that is a simple design that meets a need.
What kind of book can you create?
This challenge is to create a low content book like a journal, planner, tracker or even a workbook. If you want to include activities in your books, we’ve got you covered for that too!
During the kick off call, we will discuss what kind of books you can create and give you a chance to reflect on the kind of book YOU are particularly suited to bringing into the world. Then over the course of a week and a half and 5 calls (replays available if you can’t make the calls), I will take you through each of the steps of creating a brilliant book.

Create Your Book
Next up, we dive into creating your masterpiece. You can either start from scratch or customize one of our pre-designed royalties accelerator templates. It’s all about making the process as straightforward as possible.
Title & Listing Prep
Here, I’ll guide you through choosing a title that works and how to prepare your Amazon KDP listing. No more worrying about technicalities or what to write – we’ve got them handled!
Cover Creation
Even if you’re not a designer, don’t sweat it! I’ll walk you through the process of creating an attractive cover for your book. You can use one of our seamless patterns or use AI to generate your own cover.
Publish Your Book
Finally, I guide you through the publishing process. This is where your hard work pays off and your book goes live!

Will there be replays?
All the replays and trainings will be available in the members area shortly after each session
What do you mean by a 'low content' book?
A low content book is one that has repeated pages in the interior. A classic example is a gratitude journal or habit tracker, diary or planner.
I'm not tech-savvy; will I be able to follow along with the process?
Yes! I make it as easy as possible by giving you guidance and templates to start with.
Do I need any special software or tools for this session?
I will be using Canva and use this to show how to create your books. You are welcome to use any software that you are comfortable with.
If using Canva, I do recommend that you have the pro version for this, but it is not necessary and you can create a great journal just using the free version and the templates.
What if I don't have a book idea yet, can I still participate in the session?
Yes! We will provide you with an ideas list as soon as you sign up that you can choose from.
Can I include written pages in my book
Absolutely! You can include any pages you like in your book.
I am not a designer, will this be a problem when creating my book?
No. We will give you templates and a brief explanation of how to design your books. A bit of Canva experience does help, but is not absolutely necessary.
How long does it take for my book to be published on Amazon KDP after the session?
What kind of topics or niches does this approach work best for?
Simple Guided Journals are best where people can answer questions and fill in notes. To complete this book in a day, you will need to create a journal that has repeated pages.
Can I use this method to publish more books in the future on my own?
You absolutely can! This will give you a great foundation for publishing other books. Are there any prerequisites or preparation needed before attending the challenge?
No, you can do it all during the week. If you want to sign up for your Amazon account before the challenge, you will need your tax number from your home country plus your standard Amazon email address and your bank details.

No. Publishing on Amazon KDP is absolutely free!
