Hey there, I’m Julie Hall, your Low Content KDP Coach! 😊 Let me explain why and how I created the ‘Book in a Day Live.
I’ve been running my own online business for over 20 years, creating digital products and courses. But it wasn’t until 2021 that I dipped my toes into the world of book creation. 📚
It was a whole new ball game, but wow did I love it! Thousands of books sold and a whole lot richer, I realized something… that I had cracked the code to publishing low content books on Amazon KDP. But not everyone has the time to figure out where to start.
So, that’s why I created the ‘Book in a Day’ live training. My goal is to move you from confusion to clarity, from procrastination to action. We will create a book together in a live session, step-by-step, no tech wizardry needed. No overthinking or getting lost in the process – just pure creation! 🎨
My gratitude journal
My first book that I created that was not a notebook was a gratitude journal. It was published in July 2021 and as you can see has made me over £3000.
This book is a very simple book. With some intro pages to gratitude journaling and then a weekly 2 page spread where they could write what they are grateful for.
This book sells month after month and sells particularly well at Christmas and in January.
This is the kind of book we will be looking to create in the book in a day workshop.
One that has a repeated set of pages or a planner that is a simple design that meets a need.

I will give you a list of journals, planners and trackers that are selling on Amazon right now and you can use that as inspiration.

Next up, we dive into creating your masterpiece. You can either start from scratch or customize one of our pre-designed royalties accelerator templates. It’s all about making the process as straightforward as possible.
Title & Listing Prep
Here, I’ll guide you through choosing a title that works and how to prepare your Amazon KDP listing. No more worrying about technicalities or what to write – we’ve got them handled!
Cover Creation
Even if you’re not a designer, don’t sweat it! I’ll walk you through the process of creating an attractive cover for your book. You can use one of our seamless patterns or use AI to generate your own cover.
Publish Your Book
Finally, I guide you through the publishing process. This is where your hard work pays off and your book goes live!

I will be doing everything in Canva. The pro version is not necessary, but is recommended.
Please set up your Amazon KDP account before the session. This is a really simple and traightforward process. Information in the welcome email.
This is for a simple book or journal, not a complex one. Meaning that it is mostly repeated pages. Advice and suggestions will be provided.
I highly recommend that you have a book type in mind before joining.
To complete your book, you will need to be available for the whole session. We have a tight schedule, so won’t be able to repeat parts of the day.

How does the Book in a Day session work exactly?
We kick off at 3:00pm on April 16th (BST timezone) or 10:00am EST
On the hour we will check in and do a tiny teach. All of the content is already live and available inside the members area if you want to prewatch any of it.
You will be able to ask me questions live on Voxer throughout the Book in a Day so you get immediate feedback as you go.
Will there be a replay?
You will have access to previous versions of the training which are already uploaded to the members area.
What do you mean by a 'low content' book?
A low content book is one that has repeated pages in the interior. A classic example is a gratitude journal or habit tracker, diary or planner.
I'm not tech-savvy; will I be able to follow along with the process?
Yes! I make it as easy as possible by giving you guidance and templates to start with.
Do I need any special software or tools for this session?
We will be using Canva. I do reocmmend that you have the pro version for this, but it is not necessary and you can create a great journal just using the free version and the templates.
What if I don't have a book idea yet, can I still participate in the session?
Yes! We will provide you with an ideas list as soon as you sign up that you can choose from.
I am not a designer, will this be a problem when creating my book?
No. We will give you templates and a brief explanation of how to design your books. A bit of Canva experience does help, but is not absolutely necessary.
How long does it take for my book to be published on Amazon KDP after the session?
What kind of topics or niches does this approach work best for?
Simple guided journals are best where people can answer questions and fill in notes. To complete this book in a day, you will need to create a journal or notebook that has repeated pages.
Can I use this method to publish more books in the future on my own?
You absolutely can! This will give you a great foundation for publishing other books. If you would like to know more about how to publish books on Amazon and get the most out of it, we recommend that you join our KDP Creators Club where you will get live support, access to all of the Royalties Accelerator Templates and training on how to create more complex books.
Are there any prerequisites or preparation needed before attending the session?
I recommend that you sign up for your Amazon account before the session. You will need your tax number from your home country plus your standard Amazon email address and your bank details.
I also suggest that you have a book in mind. It can take time to make this decision, and I want you to be able to get straight into the creation process.
Can I include written pages in my book
Are there any additional fees for publishing on Amazon KDP?
No. Publishing on Amazon KDP is absolutely free!
